The past few years have reshaped childhood in significant ways. The COVID-19 pandemic limited many children’s opportunities for peer interaction during critical developmental windows. Virtual learning, smaller social circles, and extended time at home helped keep families safe, but they also reduced everyday chances for children to practice social skills in real-world settings.

Today, many parents are noticing that children may feel hesitant in group environments, unsure how to initiate play, or overwhelmed in social situations.
